Biosketch
Robyn Wakefield-Murphy PhD fulfills the role of teaching anatomy and biomedical sciences in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies at 91视频. Robyn joined 91视频 in 2017, serving multiple programs in cadaveric anatomy instruction. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a PhD in Anthropology in 2017. She also holds a Master of Science in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom and a Bachelors in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh. During her graduate studies, she developed a passion for biomedical science education and taught gross anatomy in several graduate level allied health professional programs in the Pittsburgh area. Outside of teaching, Robyn also engages in research focusing on the health impacts of social inequalities and care systems in past human populations. This research lead her to dedicate her efforts in healthcare education to professions, such as Physician Assistants, that provide critical clinical services to underserved communities.
